I'd dare anyone to find a vendor in my town or county (maybe the state) that works on automotive cd changers anymore.

This is still the age of planned obsolescence. When I was selling automotive parts back in the '60s to get through college, that's what we called people who just throw stuff away when it quits working. It's a lost art form, unfortunately.

This vendor may be able to repair your CD changer...or have an exchange in stock ready to go...

This place is the best! I've had them do work on a '93 Cadillac CD player and a friend of mine in W. Virginia sent his CD player to them on my recommendation. They did an excellent job for him.

PS. They were the sub-contractor who did all the GM audio warranty work for GM dealers in the San Diego area. They are GM component experts.

Their general website is: www.lajollaaudio.com
