No, I am not Don Ho... Instructions say the little bubbles will eventually go away. I used water for the install...the little bubbles in the vinyl are from trapped water underneath, and they can't be squeezed out. If you have done these stripes, do you agree that they will vanish over time? Is the vinyl porous?...I don't see it....

Yes, the bubbles should go away over time. If some still remain, you can take a fine sewing needle and pop the bubble - then run your squeegee over the area and smooth the stripe out. Worked for stripes I had installed on one of my previous cars.

Wait a couple of days for them to settle out. I've done vinyl applications on several cars and this always makes me insane. Try keeping the car exposed to heat as much as possible as that will help promote adhesion.
After a couple of days it should be no bubbles, no troubles - but if you've got a few, just pop the offending basterds and smooth down the vinyl.

Same thing happened to mine. Think the instructions said to give it 2 weeks and then the ones that hadn't disappeared I used a pin to pop them and my finger to gently push all the water out and seal them. I tried to insert the pin on the side of the bubble not the top. Mine came out great.

Park the car out in the direct sunlight for a few hours and they will go away!

yea, that's what I normally do with graphics, but this guy's instructions warned to use just water...keeping my fingers crossed on this one, otherwise, they are going to be a lot more work.

I worked in a display shop for years, I've always used a soap solution. I did the hood stripes on my 87 that way, no bubbles. I think your bubbles should disappear as the vinyl dries and adheres.

I just put the strips on the hood of my white 01 vert. The instructions say to use soap as have all the other decals I have installed.Ididn't have any bubbles but I sent a lot of time with the squeegie that they supplied. The key is to take your time and get it right the first time.Damn things are expensive

Two drops of dawn in the water or sprayer works wonders on vinyl.
