Default anyone know of a vendor that sells cargo shades

Looking for info on a cargo shade for my 04 coupe, am wanting one so when on trips I do not have to have a blanket in the car to cover up whats in the back to keep the prying eyes from being tempted to smash and grab. Any help would be appreaciated, I am taking a road trip this coming weekend, heading back to Texas for a visit. thanks

Just sold the one I had kept for a few years...take your time and look through the for sale topic cause you could find it for much less than what websites are asking for. Here's a link if you can't find any though.

I made one from Levelor Solar Shade, purchased at Lowes. I had the felt one you can pruchase on line and hated the flapping in the breeze thing. I've had it for 4 years now and it's still like new. Think my total cost was $79.00 and about 2 hours of swet labor.

Mid-America and Ecklers both sell them. Or you can find one from time to time here on the forum in the C5 Parts for Sale section. If you need it quick though, best bet is to go to one of the vendors above.

Corvettes of Houston usually has them for about $35. I bought my shade there and the netting thing came with it. I use the net all the time.

I made one from vinel and elastic from a fabric store. It cost $15 and looks good. I have someone who could sew it for me but it was easy. Just measure the distance between the places it mounts and make it a little smaller. Then put elastic loops at the corners. You can use any fabric you like.

My car had the net but the shade was missing. I use the net all the time too. If I had seen that deal I would have just got that. That is a great price. They must have forgot to charge the Corvette tax.

Default thanks for the replies

the first time I used the search engine I used cargo cover did not pull up anything, after searching in vain for wuite awhile, looking at vendor sites, I changed the words to reflect cargo cover, and walllllaaa pulled up corvette mods, ordered it, may or may not show up in time for the impending road trip but I will at least have it. thanks
