I just bought a Smoothline off of a guy in town. It's really nice, I've stiil got to get it painted. I paid $550 and they go for $2499 brand new, so I got a good deal. I'll post pics when I get it painted.

I paid like $1680 unpainted for mine. Than $480 in fixing blemishes and paint.

Thats puts me just over 2k.
and for those who say it takes two ppl It doesnt. Im 5'11,142lbs (skinny ****)
and I can do it.

Only two pics that I have right now....

Best part, the back plexiglass window comes with a slint tint on it, so matches the car perfectly

I wish someone made and sold a FRC top for verts that bolts on in place of the tonnau lid and results in the car looking exactly like a FRC.

It would be too much of a pain for vert users to switch on and off. but Ill show you the inside. youll like it.

Looks great!

Does the soft top simply fold down under? How's the wind noise? Any issues with rain/water leaking? Rattles?

I wish the OEM softop had that size rear window.

Thanks MSG! Yup the soft top just goes where it normally does. And the top isnt finished(weatherstipping) but the car isnt quiet AT ALL so It really is hard to say, but I know it would be more quiet. Even then, you can have them ship the upholstery seperate Im sure, throw in some insulation and youll be even better. They do offer a thicker upholstery which supposedly will help.

And I will refuse to have it leak. (the car is torn apart, and Im yanking the engine for the new 408 )

Rattle is impossible as it mounts in the latches where the oem top does, and then there are "j-hooks" that go to these supplied eyelets that you mount on each side of the car. that thing isnt going anywhere when you do that.

IMO.....worth ever penny. Hell my friend with a coupe(LSGUN) even said it looks better than a Z because it looks like I chopped the top. I know its not that much of a difference, but I absolutely love the look

My top has molded in weatherstripping and a carpeted headliner, looks pretty beefy.

Thanks, yes the top is "glued" to a tonneau cover, four bolts and it's off then i put the regular tonneau back on. I only switch it once or twice a year, takes about ten minutes to switch.
