Corvette Tow Car
My daughter sent me this pic taken yesterday (Wed.) on US 550 between Silverton and Ouray, CO.
Nice color match on the trailer. "Plum Crazy" maybe? No, wait, that's a Mopar color.

When I bought my first Corvette, a well-used '56 w/Powerslide, purchased in '59, it had a receiver hitch on it and had trailered a U-Haul - hey, I was desperate to buy a used one and there were precious few for sale in Albuquerque at that time - the transmission went Tango Uniform within six months. "Live and learn!"

Not something I would do with my car, but hey, if it works for that owner and there have been no problems, then .

when I moved from Ind. to Ca. in Dec. of 1973 I drove my 1967(4-speed,327/300 h.p.) Vette pulling a 10 ft. U-haul. Was stopped in Flagstaff for only having one side mirror. Never had a problem with the Vette then or later on.
