As a follow up to my "Red or Gray" thread from earlier (link below), I would like some Forum feedback on which style seat skin to get. I have a Spiral Gray vert with black interior/black carpet and I've decided to go with a Gray/Black theme. I'm not interested in specific vendor recommendations, rather simply the style of the seat skin.

Yes, I know, "it's my car and in the end I will do what I want", however I respect most of the opinions on this forum and I'm curious what other members think of these options. I wish all of these pics had black interiors/carpet however I could not find any so you need to use a little imagination. Also, if there is another gray/black style that you think would look good, please post a pic. Thanks! Poll attached.

Here's my input - Styles A, C and D - the only thing I see bad about them is the gray area where you will be sitting. Could be more difficult to keep clean.

So, I would recommend style B.

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. I was thinking about that as well, however there are a lot of shale interior C5s that still look nice with the stock GM leather.

Give Dennis a call at Double D mods. While they all look good they are also run of the mill. Worth while to see what he can offer.

I voted for Style C as my first choice, but also liked B as a second choice.
The only one that I did not like was D because I thought that it made the seat look short in height.

I went with something similar to style B. I wanted to get rid of the grey. I swear we have the same car.

I will be calling you regarding the DD bezel/head unit - Mach II shortly. I want to take advantage of the Kenwood rebate and get this project moving again now that the career is back on track.

I love Spiral Gray. My car was a showroom model back in 2004. I was hunting down a Mag Red II vert when I saw my car in the showroom. It shined like a diamond and the dealership had already swapped out the brake calipers for Z06 red calipers for some showroom bling. I almost sprained a muscle in my neck looking at it!

I'm honestly surprised that Style B is leading the poll so far.

Style A reminds me of the OEM Mod Red Z06 seat style. One of the reasons I'm considering it!

I also like the paremeter piping on the B & C styles, however outside of C5 Corvettes, I've never seen anything like it in other cars.

Based on the choices you posted I would choose "B". I have the same interior you are describing and mine are a bit different than your choices just as another option to consider. Good luck!

Thanks for the pic. Yeah, Option B seems to be very popular. The all black with gray piping. I've seen that combo (with yellow) in yellow verts and it looks great!

Hey Allen, I chose "C" as I like how it brings in the grey. Just keep in mind that Florida has hot summers and an all black leather on a 95 degree day is not fun in my book. Also your whole interior is black so adding grey would be a good thing. Also try to keep the wear sports on the seats black as it will take the wear of getting in and out! Good luck with your choice!

You could always be different and go black/oak

Just to be different, I was thinking about painting my car torch red and going with a mod yellow interior with black chrome seat hoops!

It's all relative but style D has the right balance IMHO!
