Default New and looking at C5Z

Hey all I'm new to this forum and I'm looking to buy an '04 C5Z. I'm looking at a few this weekend and was wondering if there are any specific things that I need to look out for, or if there were any recalls that may have been done. I've owned an E46 M3 and I know that there are some things that must be well maintained and I was wondering what parts these might be for a C5Z. Thanks in advance!

The clutch fluid is the main thing that needs to be changed constantly!!! or you will have the "sticking clutch" problem... Can become very annoying! if you search sticking clutch you will see an obscene amount of threads! good luck on the buy...best bang for the buck is a used C5Z!

Gas & Tires

My 2003 Z06 has been the most reliable car that I have ever owned.

If the battery has not been switched to a sealed type, look for rust under the lead acid battery. They are notorious for bubbling over and rusting the frame area underneath. It happened to mine and caused a couple of vacuum lines to become brittle and break as well.
