Z06 Newbie - Intro/Hello
Hey all,
Name is JB - new to Vette's and this forum. Just picked up a 2003 Z06. I live in the Bay Area, CA.
In a nutshell, I'm freshly married...more kids...and at 40 y/o, it was time to give up roadracing (crashing) motorcycles. My consolation prize was "permission" to buy another cage. Man, I don't know why it took me so long to get into Vette's.
The Z06 has 29k miles and some nice work done to it - ported/polished/shaved heads, .600 cam, headers, TB, Calloway Honker, Tune. I realize that if I have to "settle" for a Z, my life can't be that bad.
Anyhow, hello to all, great forum and thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to the Forum from the Sacramento area.
I also have an 03 Z06 (although much tamer) and could not be happier.
Make sure you check the Events tab and find some cruises to go on. There's a nice little Corvette show coming up May 21st in Rio Vista, CA. Should be a sweet little cruise from the bay area.
Hope to see you there.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the welcome...
Thanks, will do...and I'm already registered for the Abel Chevy Corvette show! I work fast. I plan on being there, with some additional mods completed by then.

Thanks!
Apparently this car was dyno'd at Advanced Dyno (no longer in business) after they finished all of the mods and tune...the owner I bought it from didn't provide me a dyno sheet. Said he lost it.
I'm assuming he didn't mis-represent the car's power however. A very straight up guy.

I will by dyno'ing it myself at some point. Until then, it's 463 RWHP!
