Default How many have had close calls

I took the vette out today and was just playing around a little when no other cars were around and floored it from a stop spinning then shifted to second and went totally sideways in the other lane i must have turned the steering wheel a little or something..scared me a little i had to correct it twice before i got it back to straight..From now on when im playing around im putting it in competition mode..

OMG...you must have been scared to death. That's a good reminder to me NEVER to press the gas pedal more than 1/4 of the way down...

Default Hi-power driving

This is why a powerful car needs to be in experienced hands if your gonna get wild on the streets. Way too many variabilites you encounter on a regular street. And teenagers keep finding out every day. Here going into Philly, there's a billboard, it says "300 horsepower + a sixpack of beer, you do the math"

Sounds to me you need DM-101 so this won't happen again, Good thing others were not on the street or you might have hurt someone.

...as scary as that is, it's even scarier to cruise through a parking lot. For some reason, most drivers think stop signs and one-way arrows are there as suggestions only.

Leave traction control on till you learn the car. Get better tires. Again leave the traction control on till you learn the car.

Up north here, tromping on it and going sideways, is an every day occurrence...well at least in the winter. We just steer out of it, and get down the road.

kinda off topic, but....

I was driving to school today (Cal State University Northridge) in Northridge CA when this idiot was doing 20 on a 35 road in front of me.....

So I take the lane next to me and get on the gas from 2nd gear......BUT MISSED 3rd gear and shift into 1st accidentally.....B&B bullets @ 6,000rpm is loud as f***, and if thats not bad enough, there were 3 cops on the other side of the road

I quickly let the car roll in neutral.....and glad I didnt get pulled over never will I go anything above 3000rpm on the streets!
