Do you have OEM C6 or C6 Z06 wheels on your C5
Hello All. I too am trying to decide on a wheel and tire combo. I want to go with an OEM wheel or OEM reproduction wheel, but need some input. I know that there are many reproduction wheels available made with the proper or correct offset to fit the C5, but understand these reproduction wheels weigh significantly more than their OEM counterparts. If you have OEM C6 or C6 Z06 wheels on your C5, how do they look? Do they stick out or other wise look like they don't belong there? I want to step up to 18" wheels in the front and 19" in the rear. Are there any concerns I should be aware of ? Any spacers or reprograming that needs to be done for proper speedometer function?
Thanks Chris

I have the reproduction C6 Z06 wheels on my'01 only because I did not need new tires so I did not want to spend the extra money. But to answer you question, the OME wheels will need spacers if you go with a C6 wheel on a C5.

I have ace slick wheels 18/19 on the way right now. Similar to C6 Z06. A little heavier, but the non runflats almost make it a wash.
Pics soon.
Happy with discount tire.

I have been looking too and discussing it on here and this is what I have concluded so far. This is for the C6 Flat spokes 18x9.5/19x10
The repros will fit correctly in the right offsets 56mm fronts 68mm rear and will not stick out with those offsets.
They are heavy I have been told anywhere from 30-36 lbs per wheel. Stock thin spokes weigh in at 16lbs. front and 20lbs. rear.
Made in China
You can buy the stock C6 front wheel made in Italy in 18x8.5 that will work and is lighter 21.8 lbs. and you can buy it new from a Vendor on the forum.
I am thinking about the stock front and the repro rear.
