I'd take a gamble and run non runflats, the ride is much smoother. You can always get Z06 inflator kit just incase you get a flat.

I've got Mich Pilots on mine. No complaints at all. Got em from Costco and glad I did. Picked up a nail and pressure dropped to 8 P.S.I. They patched and plugged it and was on my way. 3 months later I picked up a screw about an inch from the first repair. Couldn't repair it because of the prox to the first repair. Costco has a road hazard waranty and replaced the tire at no charge! If it wasnt a run flat, I would have been stuck twice! Because of the Costco plan, the replacement cost me nothing.

I still have the orig tires on my vette....story's like yours make me lean towards staying with the run flats.

I ran a set of the Firestone Firehawk runflats on my '00 for a number of years. Was very pleased with the tires - so much better than the OEM Goodyears. Quiet ride and very good handling.

my Mich are noisy. I will never buy run flats again when these wear out.
