MSG is also quite good at hiding the dust, which, in this climate, is about the only problem...as long as I keep the windows clean.

I drive mine everyday. Wash it about every two weeks or when the rims start looking brown from all the brake dust. It sits outside gets rained on and collects tree sap from parking under trees at work.

Mine I drive every single day almost in a year I'll average 12-15,000 in my car normally so with the vette being a summer only car in Michigan i'm assuming i'll do an easy 8,000 miles a year and I'm sure it'll be more then dirty quite often! it just gives me more reason to clean it every week

French fries, half eaten hamburgers, empty soda bottles. general trash,
thats my sons Taurus. All of my cars are usually clean and I don't think the car is a booth in a drive in restaurant either. Can't get that across to him as he seems to think filthy is the way to go. Sometimes he even has the passanger seat so full of crap you can't sit on it. When do they grow up?

My car stays fairly clean, but I have a tendency to wave off the bag when I buy only one or two things at a store. A recent clean-out coughed up maybe a dozen miscellaneous receipts from single-item purchases.

My car is pretty much always show ready. It is rarely ever dirty. However last year on our week long road trip to the Tail of the Dragon and thru the Smokey's we were logging about 500-800 miles a day average for the whole week. I was VERY excited to get it this dirty because I was using the **** out of the car and getting everything out of it I could!

this site is unique because it has a disproportionately large number of waxers vs the regular c5 on the road. in my area c5s are often daily drivers that rack up the miles

when you car shop, it's obvious that many have been neglected

Taken at a HPDE at VIR in January of 2013. Temps hovered between 31 and 35 and parts of the track were wet. This pic doesn't really show how dirty the car was.

There's nothing like going 145 down the backstraight with the windows down in winter.

that takes some skill to drive hard in those temps. tires behave totally differently and sections of the track i'm sure went from fairly predictable to slick

Not too many people would put "skill" and "drive" in the same sentence when it comes to me. I'm only 4 DEs into this adventure. That was my third. The tires never really got up to temperature, so the entire session was like you're on cold tires. It was so bad that an unintended four-wheel drift in turn 1 produced no tire smoke.
