I am not the one who did the mod you were asking about. But I just bought a mount like that at radio shack. It's adjustable and can fit phones or gps devices. The one at radio shack mounts to your air vent, but you could modify the back portion to fit your bezel instead of the vent.

I made the metal bracket and made it contour to the edge of the console so it fits clean and snug between the radio bezel and the dash pad. It is held secure by the right hand side screw of the hvac control unit. You can adapt any cellphone mount to this bracket. I got this one from walmart. I needed one that would fit an i phone samsung note and any other phone I may get. Works great. No vibration and sets at the right angle for veiw while driving. Couldn't find one that would hold the phone sturdy and out of the way so made it how I wanted. Need one shoot me a pm

I made a quick connect for my clutch line. Very easy now to remove and holds pressure too when disconnected. I'll post some pics when I get on the computer.

Default An Ebay listing for the mount

[QUOTE=v1 rot8;1576782318]I just pulled my painted top out of the bag to take some pictures for you. Here is a close up of the mount attached, it is held on with 3m tape.

Here is my Garmin GPS with the windshield mount, just pull the windshield mount off

Then just snap it onto the mount attached to your roof(or anyplace else you want it)

Hope this all makes sense.[/QUOT

Had some Lowes paver stone underlay left over so I made this battery cover.

Used my Galaxy Note 2 as the stereo head unit for my 1100 watt rms system instead of a double din.
Cost a few bucks and my labor.

How did you setup your phone there? I've got the note 2 also and zero places to put it. How is it controlling your headunit?

Default E-brake mount

Bought this mount at best buy, it had several types of mounts in the box. The mount I used was designed for a bicycle handle bar. I just cut the hinge off with a dremel cutter, then drilled holes for the screws and added the webbing. The webbing allows the lower mount to fit the lower part of the e-brake handle.

Went to HD bought a piece of radiator screen, cut and bent to fit under front between bumper and over air damper. The C5 is a bottom feeder when it comes to picking up road trash, figured I should catch some of the trash before it reaches the radiator.
