Default Storm report

Looks like it was in the hurricane area. Probably has some water damage.

Looks like a pretty nice, stock, Z06. I would ask for maintenance records, this car could have been a daily driver that saw a lot of highway use. I like lower mileage cars myself but, this one looks like it was taken care of and not beat up.

If you're interested I would do some research on the car and bid wisely.

the Auto Check says the registration was renewed several times since the hurricane. It does recommend a full inspection.

Sounds to me like a good deal if YOU don't mind the miles. Ask for a stipulation that you get a full deposit refund if the car doesn't pass a water damage inspection.

Not for me, but if you can tolerate a high mileage car ... looks pretty clean.

vehicles on ebay are usually as is.

i highly doubt any refund will be possible on this vehicle.

Read between the lines,,and it kinda says he bought it at an auction or other wholesale outlet and plans on flipping it for a few bucks!! He has "driven it for a few months"!! It might be ok,,but I sure wouldn't pay much for it!! Kind of a craps shoot!!

If you buy a used car off a dealer lot with 1xx,xxx miles, it's usually "As-Is, No Warranty". If, only if, a dealer takes this on trade, it usually goes to the auction simply because they don't want it sitting on their lot with that amount of miles. The amount of miles is not that detrimental, It's how those miles were put on the car. If you read this forum carefully, you'll see how a lot of these vette owners treat their cars. Most treat them good, but pay special attention to the ones that run the hell out of them. I wouldn't want some of them at half price, except to part out. Personally, I think any vette that has over 100,000 on it, should be crushed. Afterall, who in their right mind would want a fender, hood, qp, etc from that car on their 10 mile '97.
My 2 cents....flame suit on.......

so if you found a 1967 BB convertible with 101,001 miles you would think it should be crushed?

flawed logic at work.

Thought that would get a rise from you. No, actually. My 3rd vette was a 67 roadster, 427BB. That was my point, wouldn't care how many miles was on it. As I said, "it's not how many miles put on it, it's how those miles were put on it". Here's a thought: What's going to happen when all the C5s out their have 100,000 or close to it?

I don't doubt that but forget it, evidently the mud is too deep for you.

That one had too many miles for my liking, but moot point since the seller pulled the listing.
