Gran Turismo 5 ps3 players?

It's definitely a good game; however, I'm a little disappointed. I own a PS3 and Xbox and was hoping GT5 would blow Forza Motorsports out of the water but it doesn't. They are both excellent games though. I was always partial to Playstation and Gran Turismo lol.
Ill give this 3 hours before its gone.....

I'm partial to Forza on xbox. I have a family of vettes including a done up Gulstrand C5, and of course the big daddy the Lingenfelter with 1000+ hp! I'm actually almost done the game and have the endurance series left! Oh, and I have approx 4 million credits without cheating.

I got to 85% on Forza 2 then FOrza 3 came out so needless to say I havent played it but once or twice since then. Got to love the manual with clutch on a 800 hp vette in Forza 3 with out stability or traction control

How does the Vette V8 engine sound in GT5?
I stopped at GT3. Might get into GT5 but would like to hear comments on the V8 engine sound. The rice dudes that designed this game put a fart pipe on the Corvette if you put on a race exhaust. Must be a cultural thing. WTF is up with that!! Took some of the fun out of the game.
The LS6 V8 should sound like this with "race exhaust":

I was going to buy GT5, BUT Sony requires that you update your PS3 firmware to 3.50.
For those of you who don't know, firmware 3.41 is jailbroke, meaning you can use custom software on the PS3. Yes, you can also copy games to your hard drive and play them without the disc.
So since I have to wait until there is a fix to play GT5, I'm just going to pirate it. I know the $60 is nothing to Sony, but it's my little way of saying "F You".

No PSP, but PS3 and I'm at level 12 working it everyday almost done with the ILA license. I love the C5 Z06 and now looking for the C1,2,3 and 4. That Chrome AUDI is a blast! I love those 5 "chrome" GT edition cars Sony gave us in the Collectors edition to download.

Been disappointed with this game. Seems to be full of bugs and won't work correctly with my Fanatec 911 Turbo S wheel. Went back to playing Forza 3. 5 years in development, all the hype, and it's not as good as Forza. Was a huge fan of the GT franchise up until now. Hopefully they will fix all the problems.
