chrome wheels on a corvette- who likes them?

Remember I'm comparing stock OEM '01 polished thin spokes with OEM sized tires to the chromed C5Z06 wider wheels with wider tires. I got the weight difference using my bathroom scales so it may not be exact but damn those chromies are heavy and probably made in China.

Totally depends on the body style and color.
My dad's car is an 03 Millennium Yellow Vert and looks great on the chrome 5-spokes. My car, on the other hand, is an 03 Millennium Yellow Z06 and looks best on the stock magnesium speedlines that are NOT chrome.

Black & chrome....an American classic...always has been, always will be
My SSR and C6Z have factory chrome wheels....Sold the wagon wheels and bought two sets of powder coated thin spokes for my 99 C5 Coupe & Convertible and had them chromed by West Coast Corvette (didnt want reproduction wheels )
Even have chrome wheels on my DD...
