What is involved in removing the factory part so that these can replace it?

Hi There,
I just did this install combined with a black wing. Requires a lot more.If you have large hands you can't go in through the front air duct to remove the one 10 mm bolt. 3 10 mm bolts hold each housing. You need to access though the lower panels on both sides. Not a problem just time consuming.

I have em and love em! They are unobtrusive and really complement the looks of the C5 as well as allowing nice cool air directly to my dual cone intake. Installed 4 yrs ago.
A bit of a pain to install, done in 30 minutes and well worth the effort IMHO.
