You guys are too much..
Thanks, I knew I could count on you to "enlighten" me...
Yeah, I noticed a lot after I posted up the pics. I'm not gonna back down about the sound
And yes, I did hear "SEMA" mentioned...
what else? Oh yeah, the manicured nails-- I didnt notice til after the pics were posted.
and no, I didn't O.D. (I can't tell you why I was there, but it was on someone else's behalf and isn't any kind of joke, so we won't get into that)
At least I caught the wheel thing after I posted, you guys did see my "edit?"
Sh#t man, you'da thought I posted in O.T.
Gotta love it! Thanks for setting me straight.
Anyway, the interior did look cool standing there, but you guys didn't dig on the yellow wannabe jake-laden C6R I posted a few weeks back either. The car... well-- it is what it is, the owner (yellow Vette) is one of the nicest people I've ever met. (Even if I don't agree with the crooked Batman emblem on the back)
You guys can't have any idea of what kind of life I live (except for you long-timers that gotten to know me) You gotta understand, in the situation I was in at the time, that Blue vette was refreshing, sad to say.
Here's the Yellow one again, with my Z at the end.

Anyhoooo.. this blue Z pulls up. It's sweet. Borla stingers...it has an awesome sound. The guy goes in the Chins Nails and comes back out. I'm just drooling (wanting my Vette back) and we start talking. Next thing you know, he's showing me custom made seats in blue and black with a carbon-fiber-type of material... partitioners.. stereo...

Your post asks the question "What is this"?...........
well....fella, with those pretty fingernails what this "IS" is you were being hit on and didn't even know it....probably so focused on the stupid car to even realize.
I remember in H.S. "I ran out of gas" on a mountaintop and nobody was the wiser.....

Who's going to be the dumbass that buys that thing just to see if it works for all of CF? I HAVE to see this. LOL Put the car on cruise control, hit the instant on the DIC and turn that sucker on and off.
$20 says that the stupid thing destroys SOMETHING in the already fragile electrical system in the C5s.

I have an almost indentical device, but you plug it into the cigarette lighter and it shows the condition of your battery, and if you start the car, it tells you how you charging system is working. Never saw anything like that that improves any engine running function ?

I am thinking (actually hoping) this thread is a joke on the part of the OP. If it's not then the joke is on the OP. It sounds like one person with minimal knowledge of cars is talking to another that believes or pretends to believe every word that was said. Choose your role accordingly. Had I been a third party listening in, I would have found it hard to keep a straight face.
As for the gadget, I can only imagine it is "possibly" a bank of capacitors that are acting as a filter and also uses a regulating circuit that allows them to discharge into the electrical system, or charge from the electrical system as it senses voltage fluctuations via the cigarette lighter.

I'm on my third Vette... as far as "minimal knowledge" is concerned, I'd rather let you believe that than argue it.
I will tell you a little more without shedding to many details. A driver of ours was hit by a very large commercial vehicle. I was the only one allowed to see him in the emergency room, prior to his family arriving. I had notified them, and the hospital was in a very bad neighborhood.
I don't know about "falling hook-line-and sinker"-- I was just open to anything that would take my mind off of the nasty situation at hand. Our driver was paralyzed and I had been up all night and was completely exhausted.
This car was interesting, to say the least. If I am a fool, then so be it.
No big. I am who I am. It's all good. It didn't hurt for me to give him an ear for a bit and snap a few pics on my camera phone. Maybe it made his day?
I try to be fair with everyone. If the joke is on me, it's on me. I won't lose sleep over it and I would cruise with him any day.
Criticizing people never makes me feel good. I catch myself being arrogant and condescending from time to time, but in retrospect I always feel some sort of remorse.
He got me, but I think it was more the extenuating circumstances and my own condition rather than me being a total dumbass.
If it is part of the learning process... well, for me, that is a lifetime venture. Have fun bud.
