All it takes is a little money and someone that can build a mold.
I see the one for the C6 is a cool $1700.00. Let me know when they are available for the C5 and I will rush right out and buy one.

I think rear diffusers are ugly, but I realize that they're in fashion now.

I'd love to have one of those "ugly", rear diffusers.

Exactly why I will never buy it. Something that is in fashion now.... will look cheesy later down the road.

I plan on keeping my Z06 for a long time, and the original lines of the Z06 will always be in style. . No major exterior mods for me. I put my money into performance mods... (engine, exhaust, intake, brakes, coil overs etc...etc...).

it would be for function

function>form

i found this...but a c6 wannabe thing

and its cheap enough to make it functional i guess

http://www.customautotrim.com/bodyki...7-2004/105699/

breathless makes one, but its probably the most ugly thing ive ever seen..and dosnt go to the crossmember so that = useless

Even if the item was truely functional, you'd have to be at ILLEGAL speeds to use it....

How often do you drive 130+ for extended periods?

and that is why 185hp ricers have ruined race parts...although I highly doubt one of them is a REAl diffuser. they are not put on race cars for "whats hot at the moment"

You could probably adapt that to a C5, you'd have to cut out the lower valence of the rear bumper though. On the C6 I believe that section is removable, hence this bolt-on piece.

JMHO.

Personally, they're ugly as can be but if you have a really nasty race car then it's suitable. For looks and practicality, on a street car especially, they are useless.
