Will you ever sell or trade your Corvette?
I understand there will be unexpected circumstances that may force someone to sell or trade the Corvettes in. If these circumstances never happen will you keep or sell your car?
I will keep this car for the rest of my life, so hopefully 50 more years. People look at the new C6 and they find some improvements. Which new car does not have improvement from the previous models? We continuously do upgrades which can equally match the current model in performance and handling. The only thing we cannot match is the body style unless it is some cert of body kits. I also understand with the new models there is more computer capability to allow the government to track our every move. I believe in the near future possible in the C7 or C8 there will be new technology that will track your speed and record your conversations for evidence in civil or criminal matters. IBM is currently working a computer chip to insert into our bodies to identify who we are without having governmental issue IDs. Weather we believe in this or not technology is improving. The better advanced technology and future style of the Corvette, I believe having the C5 corvette is better than having the newest and best technology on my corvette. Also let us say I am wrong just imagine the cost of repairing these cars. I love my car and I will never sell it.

Yeah RIGHT !!!
No one is going to be inserting anything in me and I don't care who you are or for whatever reason.

I don't plan on selling, But things happen, Life changes direction.
I can't say I would never sell my car, I do like it and enjoy it a lot, But, If it were in the cards I would have a C6Z in my garage. As it is right now this C5 is my retirement car, But as I said before, Things change ......

I personally do not plan to sell my C5. Has many upgrades and i still dig the car. I prefer the C5 body style to the C6 although the C6 has a nicer interior. That being said, circumstances can occur where I would sell the car. It is, in the final analysis, just a car.

"I voluntarily took 60 days off from OT"
I wouldnt mind selling both my 99 C5s and buying a triple black GrandSport convertible.....but with the prices C5s are fetching these days I dont see that happening.......I'll drive them into the ground before I sell them at today's prices

C6 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
I will more than likely sell it, but I'll get another Vette!

No, this is my first Vette, and I've done so much to it, I'll probably keep it, even if I were to get another.

I don't think I'll be selling anytime soon. I have about the same amount of money into my car in mods as the car is worth bone stock. So, I guess I'm keeping it .

I kicked myself for getting rid of my 98 for several years. Never again will I be without a Vette in my garage. I purposely looked for a low mileage 50th anniversary edition Z06 this time. This car will be in my garage for the rest of its(or my) life

I'll will sell it when I am ready to get a C6Z. In an perfect world, I would like to keep both. But if I could only have one or the other, then the C6Z would win.

I've been thru this once before. Original owner of a (C2) 1964 Coupe. Theres 125K miles on the odometer. No one ever asked if I planned to keep it or for that matter, it never entered my mind as a goal to keep it for 46 years. It just worked out that way. Simply put, I never found another Corvette I liked more than my 64. That is until the C5 came along and I could afford to have both. Without hesitation I like them both equally. It would take a lot to separate me from either one and very unlikely.

Hard to say.I have kept my 69,,just added my )) FRC to the family. If I ever add another,,I'd LIKE to keep my C5 too. That may be a difficult proposition as I am running out of places to keep them!! I'll make the decision when the time comes. The wife would like to find a place with a smaller house,,,and MORE garage/work shop space,,but at this time in our life that may not be a practical option!!

I wouldn't want to, but I've already had thoughts about doing it if I run into a situation that I'll need money. I always think of new business ideas and if I decide to do one and I don't get a business loan (which is hard to get these days), I'll sell my car for the extra cash and buy another later down the road. It's not like there aren't going to be Corvettes around after you sell yours.
It took my 4 months of really hard searching to find my current Z. But it also only took 1 week to find my first Z. So it's hit and miss, but not impossible.
...after all, it is just a car. (Flame suit on!)

I'm really missing my C3 1980 more and more. The C5 is an awesome car with some awesome issues which if the right issue ever happened, I would be up schlitz creek with no parts available from GM or anyone other than a wrecking yard. My deepest thank you to GM for leaving C5 owners out in the cold for discontinuing computers and ABS units that make driving our cars so much nicer... Flame suit is in the garage..
