I always thought those stock covers were cheap looking going way back to the C4's. Seemed like an after thought by Chevy. I replaced mine with something custom. A huge improvement. But for someone wanting the stock cover and can't do their own paint work, I think this would be cheaper than buying a new one and going to a body shop to get it painted.
