Default How to lower my c-5 co6????

HELP ME?????? I went to my local shop today. adjusted the lowering bolts front and back to the max..it looks like it did nothing...i been reading everything there is on the internet about lowering the c-5...theres not alot out there.. the next step i read is people are cuting their bushings to a 1/4inch and removing them..some people are going as fair as completely removing the bolts completely???? i found a kit on wcc for 65.00..im not a cheap ***... i just want my car dropped tomorrow cus i have to be at work soon....i would just like your guys input on if you have lowered yours?????? cut your bushings??????got longer bolts????????then cut bushings?????? removed bolts completely???? or ordered the 65.00 dollar kits???????

Drive it around for a few days and it will continue to settle in. After that, if you decide you want to go lower...Zip Corvettes sells a good kit (front & rear) for about $40.

It really matters how low you want to go and what type of ride quality you want, so you can do any of the things you listed above.

As for me, I removed my front bolts completely and cut off 2 of the 3 bushings on each side of the bolt in the rear.

English a second language??

Anyway, it's like Pete says, it really all depends on how low you want to go and the quality of your ride. If you're a daily driver I wouldn't suggest more than lowering on the stock bolts unless you spend the big bucks for a coilover setup.

it was hard to tell the wheel gap in first photo. i might go try to get some new bushings and cuting them and see how that turns out.probly gona try some longer bolts to.
