Strart up Oil Pressure
I've just finished reading (on the other forum) about another ZO6 brother who experienced oil pump failure. Really bad news.
I've been watching the oil pressure in my Z very closely lately, and have noticed that when I start it in the morning, the pressure builds up very slowly. I don't know if it's because I can now see what the oil pressure is (on the DIC), and don't have to rely on the gauge, or if the pressure really does rise slowly. The pressure is great other than that.
Any ideas?

Re: Strart up Oil Pressure (Born_Again)
How slowly does it rise? It's not supposed to instantly jump to 45 psi or so if that's what you're asking. Usually it takes a few seconds.
