What can you say... "Jeff" spends his time in a "Den". Probably with a DOG!

In all states that I am aware of the dog's owner is liable for the car damage. I don't know of any state that allows dogs to run at large.

That's what I was told by the LEO.

BUT, it's irrelevant because there's a slim chance I'm going to find the owner.

The neighborhood I was door knocking in is pretty large, and the dog is still (as late as this morning) laying in the ditch, so I don't think anyone in that particular area is even looking for him.

Aftermarket bumper recommendations, anyone?

I know this is asking for it.

Did you ever think that by hitting the dog you were kept from being involved in an even worse wreck up the road? It is bad that your vette is damaged it is bad about the dog.
It could have been a whole lot worse. It is like is the glass half full or half empty.

Good luck with your repairs. I really like that blue on your vette.

We have stray dogs everywhere. There are not any leash lays out in the county. We also have more deer than dogs.

Just about the time you think you are in the clear to let the hammer down there stanss a critter of some sort.

That sucks man. Jacksonville is bad about dogs. Piney Green Road was the worse when I was there.

I hardly think it's white knighting to simply express my opinion that your "joke" was in bad taste. You compounded it by acting like Denver is an embarrassing place to hold residence.

"Go save someone else Internet Warrior..... "
"I have no beef with either of you..."

Pick one or the other, that's as bad as saying "no offense, but you're a tool" :

OK, I'm done now too.
