I was trying to cram some of my drying towels into the storage compartments. After I removed them I now have a rattle on the left latch. I think it may have something to do with the small cables that are used to unlatch from the inside? I don’t remember how they were hooked up before I did this. Are they supposed to be hooked up to another part of a cable running under something someplace else, or hooked up to anything at all? I took the covers off of the latches but can’t seem to find anything wrong. I got under the hatch with it closed and pushed up in an attempt to replicate the noise to no avail. Those cables are just hanging down now not attached to anything. Any input would be appreciated.
