Old farts who drive Corvettes
How many old farts like me (I'm 67) drive Corvettes? I got my first one when I was 58 (a 94 coupe). Just recently moved up to a 99. Around here it seems like all the C4 guys are young, and the C5 and C6 guys are older farts like me.

I'm an old fart, age 64, and proud of it. I have a '99 and I'm living the American dream!! Seems like when it comes to Corvettes age doesn't really matter. I have Vette friends in their 20's all the way to old farts like us.

I can fart with the best of them my wife tells me... She often asks me if I have a stomach virus or something...
I'm still young at heart at 38 though..

I'm 66 and I bought my first corvette nearly 50 years ago
I'm 66 and I bought my first corvette nearly 50 years ago. I was in high school and it was a 53 that I paid $500 for.
In total I have owned around 25 Vettes. I just recently sold a Pace Car Convert so I'm down to the 2001 Vert now and looking for a 2006 Vert that will complete my ownership of every chassis series from C1-C6.

Just a couple of weeks shy of 78 with a 2001 MY coupe with lots of accessories. Bought it new and only have 23K miles so far. Since I have a HD Dyna Wide Glide and a 2008 Silverado, I have to keep them all warmed up and happy -- therefore, not many miles on any of them.

68 here. Bought my 2000 new as a retirement gift to myself. When the warranty ran out (and as I held the door open for my wife to do the same ) I began the modification process (see sig). Car is now very fast, looks like new, and travel all over the country in it with the most fantastic woman I've ever known. Life has never been so good!

But the next one I went nuts on when I bought it and money was no object. I spent the ridiculous amount of $1,400 for a 57 Fuely with both tops and a 4 speed and that one had around 15K miles when I bought it.
I wish I had most of the 25 Vettes back now!!!!!!

I'm pre-old fart at age 47, however considered the "kid" in my Corvette Club.
