Looks like a nice job on the paint, but I too prefer the shiny look. But if you are happy, that's what counts.

I applaud your ambition and want for something different, but IMO it doesn't work for this reason:
Lamborghini does a fine job of it, maybe even a ZR1 can handle it, but the C5 is just too "soft" for such an "edgy" motif.
Perhaps you'll reconsider after the umpteenth time of having to answer the question, "What color you gonna paint it?"

I like the murdered out look. In fact, I've been mulling it over for my boat. Which I think would look really cool.
But those headlights kill it for me. I never did like those. They just look so out of place.

It's your vette...
The murdered out thing isn't for everyone... however I agree with those who have already said... "It's your car... If you like it then great! That is what counts."
It looks Stealth Bomber like... I bet if you run any type of passive (or active) laser countermeasure for any front or rear facing reflective surfaces, it's going to be hard as heck to get a reading off you.

black is good. flat looks evil. tint dem windars, back to stock lights, possibly a spoiler in rear to break up soft lines a little and maybe t/s front fascial. looks good do what you want. also make sure you can do at least a 10 sec pass in 1/4 mile
