Default Everyone who's bought a C5 in the last year or so

What'd you pay?
Milage?
Coupe, FRC, or Vert?
Mods?
Condition?

Sold my 2004 Cobra and I'm looking at picking up a C5 Coupe once I sell my bike, and just want to get an idea as to what you guys found as far as deals.

I've been looking at the market but the variation of price is crazy, I've seen somewhat similar coupes going from 15k to 25k

Appreciate any feedback,

Josh

Oh, I've put in about 1500-2000 well worth the money.

I think it really has something to do with location, ETC. i saw after i bought mine someone was selling 2000 6SP for 8800.00 lost job and needed the cash. just wait and look and look and look

2004 C5 Coupe
fully loaded
42k miles
No mods
$24,000

Vettes in the PNW (from what I've seen and I've been helping a friend look for one recently) seem to hold their value better than other areas.

If I were doing it again I'd probably look in Cali and fly down to pick it up/drive it home.

I don't mind posting this stuff. It's easy reference for someone who is really unsure on what to pay. After all- no one wants to pay too much.

My car was originally listed for 29. I can't imagine what I would've thought if I found out I overpaid that much...

What'd you pay? 21,400 - 23,000 out the door
Mileage? 34,000
Coupe, FRC, or Vert? 2002 Z06
Mods? Short throw w/C6 ****. Minor- Lloyds floor mats, Pilot sports
Condition? Excellent. One scuff under the brake vent on the passenger side, not a single scratch anywhere else.

What'd you pay? $19K
Milage? 41k
Coupe
Mods? None
Condition? Excellent
Bought from a dealer in NJ, while I live in NY. I probably paid a bit extra, but then again they took care of all the little stuff - I didn't shop the price as much as I focussed on the vehicle I wanted, with low mileage and excellent condition. Good luck in your search!
