I recall the polished option of the Z06 wheel coming out in 2004. Getting ready to purchase a car with wheels that look chrome online. I don't recall an 02 having an option for polished or chrome except standard cars.

No chrome wheels where ever on C5 Z06s from the factory. The car you are looking at probably has chromed reproduction Z06 wheels on it.

Years ago CoH would exchange OEM Z06 wheels for OEM Z06 wheels they had chromed,just a possibility also.

I agree with the above statement.

However, I have a set of factory Speedline wheels on my car that were sent out to the chrome shop. This was not offered by GM. I just liked the look and I didn't want the after-market wheels.

Those are polished aluminum ... not chromed.

OP I had to ask the same question a few month ago when I bought mine. Check the inside spoke of the rims to see if you see speedline stamped on it. Mine were factory wheels that had been chromed .
