Default It just wouldn't be mine... UPDATED

if it didnt get hit! I was stopped in traffic and BAM!!!! I had a ford taurus smack me. no injuries. had a SWEET black C5Z with an insane exhaust shoot me a rev while waiting for PD lol. guna need some paint and the bumper realigned, exhaust tips are scratched up and need to be realigned, nothing major.

Might have done a lot more damage than it looks. Have a shop with Corvette experience check it out good.

I'd bet that most shops will want to replace that rear bumper. As mentioned before, what a perfect time to swap out to a sweet Tiger Shark rear end.

Sorry for the hit though...it could have been much worse.

That sucks, sorry to see that. Be sure to take it to your shop of choice, and not a shop that the other person's insurance recommends.


I was driving to meet some buddies to play pool earlier today, and some douche was right on my a$$ for a mile or so in traffic. Not only that, but he was playing on his cell phone, radio and whatever else, pretty much doing everything but paying attention to driving. sorry to hear that you got hit. If the letters were from Stainless Steel Inserts, give them a call. They may be able to get you a new letter. I have heard they are quite helpful in these matters.

Sounds like somebody was texting behind the wheel. I don't know if i could hold it in, i'd be pissed, no violence, just alot of yelling, especially since you were just sitting at a dead stop! Glad to hear no one was hurt!

i have the letter, actually just put it back on with some new double sided 3M tape.

it was an old lady, deff wasnt texting lol
