Default I've sinned...I drove in the rain today....

I knew there was an excellent chance for rain today, but I got out the little yellow ride and drove her anyway. And it rained. And it didn't melt.

Now I'll spend my afternoon cleaning her up until she looksagain!!

What a car!!!!!

Well, I'm doomed too, then. Mine's in the garage and it's dirty from several weeks of driving around without cleaning it up. Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa!

My '99 coupe is a fun in the sun car only, so if I don't have to take it out in the rain I don't. A few weeks ago, after a big Corvette cruise, I ended up driving home in the worst rain I can ever remember driving in. It was raining so hard, I could hardly see the vehicle in front of me. Other then a few drops coming in through the top of the windows, the car proved great through the whole thing. Was really surprised. No slipping or sliding, brake fade due to water, hydroplaning - nothing. I've driven in weather like that in Camaros and other sports cars. Was all over the road - but the 'vette handled it like a champ.

You guys sound like Howie Mandel bragging about finally shaking hands with someone and living through it! (But I know exactly how you feel!)

I was happy it rained yesterday, poured down for a bit. Washed all the pollen that had collected during the week sitting outside at work. Now it's almost clean1 I can wait until tomorrow to wash it, otherwise it would have gotten a bath today. So thanks to the rain yesterday.

I'm doomed! my car gets wet every time it rains! What happens now?

Seriously, I drove my car 364 out of the last 365 day (one day it snowed 12 inches, in Texas no less) and I can tell you my vette outperforms any of the other sports cars I've owned. If that means I'm going to he**, then so be it. It'll be a fun drive there!

It's alright, buddy. I sin all the time. Just sit down and have a drink and think about what you'd do differently next time. And if you can't come up with something, well then - you did the right thing to start with. This process works across a range of sins. Just don't tell your spouse you've got this process thing going...they won't understand!

Atta boy!!! The wipers DO work,,,and they do not MELT!!! Pewter vets have an advantage,,,they have to get pretty grimy with rain/road film before it shows!!!

If I skip driving the Vette just because it's raining, all I've done is pass up an opportunity to drive a car I love driving.

Haha, I actually take the vett if it's raining because it's more water "resistant" then my other car.
