Ive been w/ all state for over 10 yrs now. The reason it is so low is because of your GF and her age. Lucky you!!

If you are paying $3000 every six months, you either have some incredibly expensive cars or you have a very bad driving record (or both).
Not expensive at all, 03 Tahoe, 06 Jeep Liberty, 87 Trans Am GTA and we all have a CLEAN driving record.

There's a billion people who'd trade problems in a heartbeat.

Check it.
What ever..... well send those billion my way.

Yes the most important factor is your credit score. Insurance companies use that as a criterion for how responsible you are. Driving records are also critical. Amount of coverage you have. The size of your dedictible.

There are so many variables it is impossible to analyze the fairness of an insurance policy without knowing all those factors. Most of that is private and confidential for most folks. People always want to say they are getting ripped off. If you only knew that every state has an Insurance Commissioner who regulates what is charged and how claims are paid. Most folks are just ignorant of the real world. Dream on.

Sorry, just had to vent.
For your Corvette insurance, give Adam Boca at NCM a shout. National Corvette Museum saved me a bundle on my Vette's insurance for the same amount of coverage from the other guys.

I pay about 500 per month from state farm. I have 6 vehicles 2002 convertible C5, 2003 Z06, 2004 sierra denali, 2003 Beetle turbo, 1971 Monte Carlo, 2002 21' Regal LSR2100. This amount also includes my life insurance policy for $150,000 and my renter's insurance. I pay homeowner's insurance also (don't ask) and that runs like $80, so total I'm just under $600 a month, but I also have a 2 million dollar liability umbrella as I have dogs. Just don't tell my neighbors that.

I'm married and 28

Get some quotes man.

AHHHHHH just saw you have kids. Yeah sorry man, my car insurance was $190 a month for my firebird when I was 18 and that was with 500 deductibles on both.

Nah, that's worthless to me since my Vette is my daily driver and not a garage queen.

You know I really wasn't bashing, just trying to put some perspective in here...

I'd be ticked too if my bill came back $30 higher! Just like the cable company jacking up thier prices, or the water company sucking more money out of me for who knows what project, or the city increasing my real estate taxes to pay for our city's failing schools and the list goes on...

You and I are still driving vettes whenever we want and that ain't too bad. I was in South America last year where they sacrificed a couple guys to the gods because a highway project was behind schedule. Yikes!

Again, no offense intended in the last or this post. We live in a great place.

Trade the '87 Trans Am for an '87 Honda Civic and see what happens to your rates. Insurance companies don't like seeing young drivers in high performance sports cars.
