There has got to be more to the story. I pay $1150 every six months for full coverage (very high limits) on three cars with two drivers AND they are including a $42,000 at fault, total loss about 2 years ago. If you are paying $3000 every six months, you either have some incredibly expensive cars or you have a very bad driving record (or both).
Not bashing here, really.
You sir are in the who knows the top percentage of wealthy people in the world! Most of our planet can't find a clean glass of water.
All of us are extremely blessed to be in this great country, then we get to drive a vette, most have another car on top of that, and some have another and another.
There's a billion people who'd trade problems in a heartbeat.
Check it.

There are so many variables it is impossible to analyze the fairness of an insurance policy without knowing all those factors. Most of that is private and confidential for most folks. People always want to say they are getting ripped off. If you only knew that every state has an Insurance Commissioner who regulates what is charged and how claims are paid. Most folks are just ignorant of the real world. Dream on.

For your Corvette insurance, give Adam Boca at NCM a shout. National Corvette Museum saved me a bundle on my Vette's insurance for the same amount of coverage from the other guys.

Get some quotes man.
AHHHHHH just saw you have kids. Yeah sorry man, my car insurance was $190 a month for my firebird when I was 18 and that was with 500 deductibles on both.

Nah, that's worthless to me since my Vette is my daily driver and not a garage queen.

I'd be ticked too if my bill came back $30 higher! Just like the cable company jacking up thier prices, or the water company sucking more money out of me for who knows what project, or the city increasing my real estate taxes to pay for our city's failing schools and the list goes on...
You and I are still driving vettes whenever we want and that ain't too bad. I was in South America last year where they sacrificed a couple guys to the gods because a highway project was behind schedule. Yikes!
Again, no offense intended in the last or this post. We live in a great place.

This is TRUE, but our government sure has a way of screwing us any chance they get.

Trade the '87 Trans Am for an '87 Honda Civic and see what happens to your rates. Insurance companies don't like seeing young drivers in high performance sports cars.
