Chrome Rotor Hub Covers
I have been wanting to get some chrome rotor hats/hub covers for a while. Originally I ordered a set of chrome ones from west coast corvettes. Unfortunately, the quality of the chrome was poor. there were discolorations, burn marks and bubbles on them. Here are a couple pics of those:
So I returned those. I asked them to check their stock of the other chrome ones they had to see if I could get 4 good ones, but they said all of them that they had were like this.... so I'm guessing whoever the supplier of these chrome ones is, just doesn't do quality work.
What I ended up doing was I ordered a set of unfinished ones from west coast corvettes ($89 for the unfinished versus $199 for the chrome ones), and I sent them out to California Chrome Wheel to have them chromed there. They charged $35 each to chrome the hub covers. So total was $229 + shipping for a much better product. Here they are back from chroming:
I'll post up some pics once I get them installed hopefully this week. I had them repair one of the ccw 505a chrome wheels I bought here on the forum as well and got that back. So hopefully I'll have a whole new setup soon.

No thanks, not for me....................I'm pretty sure they're better quality chrome than my wheels. Then where will I be?
Seriously, the first ones don't have any defect that would show while mounted but I see your point. If you can get them perfect for $30 more its a no brainer.
Don't forget the pic's when mounted up.

I will definitely post up some pics. Here is the wheel I had them repair and re-chrome. Can't wait to get these on as well:

Looks Like Good Stuff.
And no, the Chrome rotor hub covers are not perfect, but on mine the imperfections are not in spots you can see.
Should look real good when you get everything on

Here they are installed. I should hopefully have the new wheels on this time next week. I'm just waiting on the center caps and I'll be ready to throw those on.

Yours look great!
I got the same set from WCC a few months ago and they had the same chrome problems which I was warned about in advance on this forum. They were the usual crappy chrome work that I have finally come to expect the last few years. WCC confirmed in advance that only the portions that "show" would be presentable and since I have had just as many bad personal experiences in getting things "custom" chromed, I just caved and went with them. So far so good, and they look much better than the $600 Baer Decelarotors that weren't supposed to pour rust in the first place (more money well spent)!
