Using it mainly to get both ends of the car up in the air! I actually use it in the front so that I don't have to use ramps before jacking the car up....

I have that exact jack and i know 3 or 4 people that have that jack and havent heard anything bad about it yet. It is very low profile and still fits under my car that is lowered on the stock bolts.

like said before i only use it to do a wheel at a time, if i want to lift the whole front end i use my heavy duty craftsman jack and craftsman stands, especially if i am going to be under that car.

since I have no HF store within 120 miles. I am looking online at HF's 2 ton floor jack, lifts 2 3/4" up to 20". it is $94.99. they also have a 3 ton on sale for $79.99, but it only goes down to 5 1/2". I need something 3" or less so I can get the front end up. I don't really want to use ramps. I have 2 - 3 ton floor jacks and neither will go low enuf. I even took all the wheels off the lowest one, and it still won't fit.

I bought the $59 jack from H/F and liked it so much that I went and bought another one just like it. It's a nice light-weight jack. Love it.

I too, bought that jack about a year ago.

Works well to lift everything I've needed it to lift including my Tundra.

So I didn't get it on lunch, instead I got a new nail/staple gun to reupholster my chairs in the kitchen and stopped next door at a outdoor home and got some Jack Daniels smoking wood and other goodies.

I have the exact jack as well, I've had it for 3 years & no problems, as a matter of fact my friends always want to borrow it...

I also have the bigger alum one from sears, its a nice piece especially for big projects. Like all hydraulic equipment the key is to always use floor stands in combo, no matter what jack you buy!!

I have the same jack that I purchased from HF two weeks ago for $79 without coupon. When I found coupon, they refunded the $20 so it cost me $59. What I like about it is that I don't have to drive onto boards to get my heavy duty jack under it. Once I lift the corvette, I place my Rhino ramps under the tires. If I have to remove a tire, I place the jack stand under the frame at the correct outboard position. Never place the jack or jackstand under the center part of the frame as the frame will bend. I use my heavy duty jack if I need the corvettes up for work underneath and need the corvette lifted higher than the HF jack will extend. Still keep the Rhino's under the tires if they stay on as a precaution. The HF jack lifts the corvette just enough to get the Rhinos under the tires. Got the free flashlights too.

I bought one of those jacks four years ago for $100+ Works great! No complaints. Well, I do have one complaint. Now, that I slammed my car on coilovers event that low profile jack won't fit under my car

3000 lbs is over kill since the whole car doesn't weigh much more than that.

Anyway, get an air compressor and air tools. You'll love being able to quickly remove/replace your wheels without any effort with a 1/2" impact wrench, plus useful on many other projects.

air tools makes him so much more fun! Make sure you get a good impact wrench with a least 400 foot pounds of torque. Don't get one of those cheap *** ones that comes in the starter air toolkit. I had one of those and it wouldn't even loosen my lug nuts.

I've purchased the same exact jack from HF about 2 years ago. Have a lowered C5 and have had no problems. It works great. Not a fan of some of their stuff but this thing is actually pretty nice.

Vitually the same Jack I got from Harbor Frieght but mine is not the Aluminum one - but it is super low profile

Works great and has a great raise ratio!
