Corbeau A4 Install (Holy CRAP !!!)
#402
Losing the electronics is a very small trade-off to get a superior seat. You are seating 100% of the time you drive, how often do you move your seat? The benefit far outweighs the loss. How many members who installed an A4 seat would like to trade back to OEM seat to get the electric adjustability back?
I was thinking the same thing. I am pretty much the only person who drives my car. I don't think I adjusted the seat once the entire season other than when vacuuming the interior.

I have NEVER had "1" customer want to return a set of A4s because they missed the power option. I had "1" customer who's wife made him return the seats and "1" customer because he was a 44" waste and couldn't fit the seats.
Nope... cannot use the electric seat brackets
I hardly ever move my seats....

Are the harness "pass throughs" high enough to properly fit someone 6 ft tall?
People have different frames for even the same height so I'm only looking for a general idea. I'm considering these for use at roadcourse events and street driving if they will suit the applications. Currently I have Cobra Suzuka race seats and also Sparco Roadster 2's on side mounts with manual sliders and looking for something to fit my liking better. The A4's will never have the support of a race seat but with a 6 point harness I think they may work fine.

Power seats is over rated... usually once you move the seats into the position you want you really don't move them. Also, the benefits of the have new seats FAR outweigh the losing the power seat functions

how do the dimensions (shoulder, waist, seat) of the A4 and Evo X compare to the stock seats in my 02 Z06? I can find the dimensions of the Corbeau but not the OEM Z06 seats.

Wow, seeing all these seats installed is really terrific. They match up with the black in the car very well.
The question is.... what do the rest of us with the tan interior do? I can't seem to find the Corbeau A4s in tan. I guess you could get black, but i dont know how that would look. Would anyone have pictures of this or some experience with this?

Melting Slicks
A few questions - one for "long term" A4 owners. How comfortable are they for a long journey compared to the sports seats? Second question - can the rake and seat back angle be adjusted? Finally, are they sold singly or in pairs only? I would only be looking at changing the driver's seat - my wife likes the power adjustments on the sports seats.

I've taken several all day drives and find my A4s to be quite comfortable. In fact my back likes them better than the seats in my C7...
The back recline is adjustable.

Would you consider the A4s a decent seat for autocross or roadcourse events with 5 point harness? I've been debating these vs fixed back seats and would go with these if the A4 could do both street and track well.
