Which One, L5 Flare or TPE T2 Flare or ACP
I have no idea what the diff is. Especially from the l5 to the tpe.... Price is the same. Anyone tell me why I should do one vs the other? From a style standpoint Im a FRC if that makes a diff.
Here's the TPE T2 for anyone not familair http://www.totalperformanceengineeri...roducts_id=931

The L5 has a "body line" where the flared wheel arch meets the fender. The TPE T2 doesn't. Instead, the entire fender is bowed outward about 2 inches. It's a subtle look that more closely resembles the stock fender. At first glance, someone who doesn't know these cars that well might not even notice. The L5 and the T2 both look good, but I prefer the T2.

In using the search engine on here I found comments saying that the L5 doesn't look good on the FRC or z06, which is what I have. I just really like the L5 because I have alot of carbon on the car and they offer the carbon splash guard, which I'm guessing won't work with the T2

you know it is a matter of individual choice, one looks more "agressive or even old school" and one blends in and is more subtle, really up to the look you want!

I really love my L-5's as a matter a fact I feel they look stock and if you have a good shop install them the lines are near perfect. I actually bought them from Jeff just before he had his own. Anyone who is not familiar with vettes think its factoy.

that looks fantastic, I see your not running the splash guard..I thought they were necessary, you picking up alot of chips? I personally think they look better without.

I agree I also feel they look better without. I have them have not installed yet and as for rock chips I don't think I have anymore then I did before this mod. I don't daily this car she is a garage queen so chipping will be alot less then someone who dailys. If you daily I think it would be a must especially when those barrel size tires get sticky they really throw the rocks and debris. I think yellow is the only color other then maybe black were the splash guards look good, they in my case will accent the brake ducts, wheels, and tint. If you order the fenders from L-5 and you want the guards get them from the dealer they cheaper and they are a C6Z part and you need to die grind the crap out of them.

Dave's vette looks great

Installed T2 this weekend. Waiting on new wheels & liner extensions. TPE has a long delay in shipping quarter-panels liner extensions, Q-panels were shipped over a month ago.

TPE doesnt require as much body work to get them to fit correctly... My body shop wont even do the L5's anymore without charging the customer for time spent... too much work to get them to look right,

My body shop technician states the same, he also states that the L5 has too many waves. My T2 could be .25" longer at the doors' seams. It does not show when the doors are closed.
