Default Chuck Cow Experience (PCM Tune)

I got in on the Chuck Cow Christmas half off special and was finally able to get the time and have my Vette guru come to my house and remove the PCM. He wanted to do it at my home so I wouldn't take up one of his lifts.

Took awhile longer than anticipated because of mailing and mostly weather, lots of snow messed things up on the East Coast. I received it and had the Guru come over and install it. The car didn't fire up the first time so he removed the PCM checked the pins and reinstalled the PCM. Fired up perfectly.

Off to his shop for the low temp thermostat. Picked the car up that afternoon and took it the Old Airport airstrip. All I can say is WOW this is by far the best bang for the buck performance wise you can do IMHO. I have a A4 and set the trans in 3rd and crushed the go pedal. Damn I thought it was fast before but this just blew my mind. Through three gears and a mile wide smile on my face. The shifts are really fast and the torque is amazing.

Aloha,

KonaVette

Chuck did my 00 vert 6 speed over the Christmas Holiday and when I put the PCM back in fired up right away. Talk about WOW it was like a whole new car.

Chuck does great work.

Are all of your cars stock or do you have mods? If so, what mods?

I have a Black Wing air induction, smooth coupler, and Borla Stinger exhaust. Need to tell Chuck all the mod's you have done if you are going to send yours in. I have others mods but none that would affect the tune.

Chuck is thinking about coming to our 3rd Annual Non Club Club All Corvette Charity Car Show in August! Every dang dime goes to the United States Marine Corpse Toys for Tots.

I know, I know. Obama might read this post and I didn't want to make him feel bad.!

Default removing

When I removed mine all I had to do was turn front wheels to the right and remove inner fender panel and unbolt the computers. Easy removal . Did not even jack it up. 2005 C6 A4 VERT. Waiting on it to return from Chuck now .

Nothing but good testimonials on Chuck's tuning skills. When I get ready, I'm certainly going to consider sending mine to him.
