She Who Rules drives mine rarely and won't without me in the car but she does well, no six speed phobia here.

My wife drives it all the time, it's all she has when I'm gone. It's her daily driver, it's my weekend driver. When we bought it, she had never ridden in a vette, much less driven one. Her first time was while we were test driving one. She is 4'-9" and has no problem reaching the pedals, seeing, or anything. She does raise the seat as high as it will go and sit on a pillow, but she sat on a pillow in every car she's ever had.
Although, she went through quite an 'orientation' before she drove it on her own. I showed her how to take the dips and speed bumps. Discussed parking, and to always be aware of any 'obstacles' in the road. I also showed her a sample of pretty much everything the car could do, as well as just how easy it can get away from you, in a controlled manner of course. I showed her that it was a car to be highly respected and she understood every bit of it. So she just babies it and enjoys lookin' fine in it. Now, she would love to be able to drive the car like I do, but she just knows it's above her skill level, so she really enjoys it when I do.

We have had it for over a year now and she has driven it once...
She only likes driving it when I'm with her. Plus she likes driving her Hybrid!

a wife that drives a vette
I drive it mostly with the hubby with, do make him occasionally grab the dash handle when I drive it like I stole it I like to see him gasp for his breathe from too much air...
But other than that , I'm the main driver to all 3 vehicles we own.

My wife loves our Vette everybit as much as me. She drives the car all the time - I'm not surprised to see it gone when i head out to work in the morning
This year I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she said the Vette needs 2 new front tires - that's what she wanted . She absolutely hates the stock exhaust - says it's too wimpy. What a Keeper !!

My wife drives it anytime she wants to. Of course, that means I have to drive her Hemi Daytona Charger.
She tried to buy me a new crate Z06 motor for Christmas. She is also bugging me to get a supercharger kit installed on her Charger.
I have seen these post before where guys say their wives can't drive their vettes, and I have always wondered why a guy would marry some woman who was not good enough to drive his car.
Can't figure that out.
