Default A little help with wheel/tire size please...

Hi guys,

I'm looking to install some HRE comp wheels on my C5 (non Z06) and I'd like to go with an 18/19 combo.

I know the stock rims I have are 8.5 and 9.5 inches wide front and rear respectively.

I'd like to go a little wider front and rear and I'm wondering what will fit? Could I get 9.5 front and 10.5 rear wheels on? Would that accomodate a 305 tire in the rear?

I obviously don't want the wheels sticking out past the fenders. I'd like a nice flush look with some good wide rubber on the back.

Any suggestions would be great!

Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to speak with an HRE rep and figure something out. I think I'm going to try and squeeze some real wide ones on there

(19 x 10) Front and (19 x 11) Rear's look really good on all C5's. Not just Z06's. 275 30 19 & 305 30 19 Looks Killer! The front tire will be completely Flush with the Fender, but the Rear 305's will stick out less than an 1/8 or an inch, with Z06 offsets. I personally like that Look & so do many others. This is a real popular combo! If you want them to be completely Flush get a 295 tire instead of a 305 for the rear.

We are a HRE authorized dealer and we would recommend 18x9.5 front 265 or 275 tire and either a 18x11 or 19x11 rear with 295 or 305 tire.
Rob.
