When my 04 leaked it scared the hell out of me. My gas fired water heater is 10' away in my garage. It's a wonder it did not blow up.

I wouldn't be surprised if any of one's insurance covers the damage as the problem is known, but no one is doing much about it. So they all may wash their hands of the situation and say your responsibility.

Wouldn't surprise me.

In Massachusetts Your Water Heater and or Boiler/Heater in the garage MUST BY CODE be 18" off the floor.

Now you know ....

My 2002 Vert has had ZERO (0) problems since new (except the CLB installed before it had a problem), though OEM battery was kinda weak compared to the best (diehard platnuim). Run Flats suck also ...

Same here in South Florida but the fumes were so bad I was suprised it did not blow up during the night.

My '98 has never seen a dealer or had any issue since I bought it....oh wait....just stupid column lock!
