Default Let's see those with tints on the side windows.

I am planning to have tint on my side windows but still haven't decided on what % do i want them.. I have 20% on my Tahoe they look nice but you can see through them more than what i want because of the light that shines from the windshield.. and those who have 5% do you have second thoughts about them?

20% on the sides and back window..if your tahoe has light colored interior thats going to make the tint look lighter also.
Keep that in mind!!!

Hope this helps you some

I've always tinted my cars, but did'nt on the vette (probably because it is white, and a vert). However, I think Tint would look great on your QS vette.

I whimped out and went with a legal 35% rear and sides. I wish I had at least gone darker on the back window though.

20 on sides and 20 on rear. Illinois finally just legalized it too.

I'm right by Warrenville (Bartlett here). Who did you have do your tints? I'm looking for someone that knows what they are doing and will do the cluster of bumps the right way.

These look awesome.

My 99 had really dark tinting on the side windows when I got it. In fact, it was too dark and I worried about not seeing a pedestrian or oncoming car from the side. So I pealed it of using a steamer. Don't get me wrong, I love the way really dark tint looks while the car is sitting still but too dark makes your outside review mirrors useless at night. Not to sound like Safety Sam but it really is an issue to consider.

Im thinking of now going with 20 on the sides and 5 on the rear.. but i will ask the guy to do the rear one first to see how it actually looks in person and well i will post up new pic once im finished with them.
And if i do go with 5% im ok because in my area so many cars here are tinted and cops dont stop them just for the windows.. usually tinted windows would be added to the fine if you were stopped for other reasons
