Share Your Vanity Plate "Moments"
My sweet hubby bought me a 2000 Mag Red Vert a few months ago. Here's my vanity plate:
So, I'm driving with the top down one day and a guy on a Harley pulls up next to me at a red light and says "he bought that for you, didn't he?"
LOL! Priceless! I said "yes, he did, but he has one too!"
What was your vanity plate moment?

I usually just notice some chuckles while looking in the rear view at traffic lights.
A few thumbs up when people drive by...
Also, been pulled over twice (minor stuff) since I've had the car and have only gotten warnings. Seems that police get some humor out of it too.

C6 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
My tag says "FINAL C5" and I've had a lot of people that can't understand what it means (non Vette folks). I've had a few Vette people ask me if it was truly the last one, which I say "No that one is in a museum".

In 1997 when the C5 first came out, I was driving home from work and saw a new C5 that was lowered and the plate said;
VETENYZ
After I figured it out I got thinking not only does he have a bitchin car, I still think the C5, especially lowered, is a beautiful body design, but he also has a killer vanity plate. I was most envious................. till i got one in 2005.

2023 C5 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
You can't buy a vanity plate in UK. You have to find a sequence of letters that works for your name or association
I managed to get an old plate that fits for me. I flew the F4 Phantom when I was younger and the F4 plus my initials is as good as it gets
As an aside I flew this jet in 1976 on my first Squadron
The bad news is that plates here can be very expensive. This was a cheap one and cost £600 ($1000). The good news is it's mine for as long as I want it.

My wifes 07 C6 Machine Silver Convertible has IMTOPLS for the plates. It gets a lot of laughs and grins from men and a lot of elbows to husbands from women.

I get a lot of feedback on this plate. People think it's great and I love pulling up to a red light and watching the people behind me start laughing at the plate. Puts a lot of smiles on a lot of faces..
Once I had a guy walk buy and go, " Must be mom's then right?" I laughed it off.

I'm guessing this picture was taken at the corvette museum. If that's correct I seem to remember seeing it there. I think that was around 5 or so years ago, am I right?
