Mine is HOWLN C5. Only story I have to date is I was at a gas station in Ga and a guy asked me if I was into explosives. If it was a C4 it would have been a valid question. I just smiled and said no.

Got to fly one once with the owner in the right seat! Great initial climb rate for such a heavy single!

Only story is being pulled over and the officer calling me "Mr. Allegro."
Oh.....and by the way, I am a musician......ALLEGRO means fast or energetic.

In a world of entitlement and " I want it now", my plate is pretty self explainatory. It's what I tell my grandchildren every day:

90% of the people who approach me ask what it means. Guess I should have gotten something different...especially since I can't really back it up.

To myself, I was guessing closer to my birthday on the plane's age but.
What is the TBO on your plane. I had an uncle, John Oxley, that had a twin beech non pressurized radial engine monster. Twin tail, tail dragger that his pilot , Doyle Eagle, let me fly when I was about 17.
Doyle called that plane the turbulent turtle!
Gawd I miss flying!
