Latest R&T 02 Z06 test
13.1 @ 111!! Curiously they tested the car against the non-turbo Carrera and NSX both of which ran 13.4 I think which is pretty decent for them. But the Z06 result is even worse than that of the 2001 Z06 last year. I saw this article in a store yesterday and it's one of the reasons I no longer subscribe to R&T.

Oh, but they covered themselves by saying they tested the cars at a track they weren't that familiar with. ROTFLMAO! What's there to be "familiar" with about a 1/4 mile drag strip?

Did they say what the altitude was?
Looks like the numbers the Z06 put here in Denver. 5800' altitude. Altitude sucks! :smash:

I remember 30 years ago in high school reading R&T in the library and they allways had the slowest times! What a bunch of candy **** geeks :troll C&D and MT run the pi$$ out of the cars they test!

Road & Track does not powershift the test cars,if you look at their road test summary side notes they tell you that all shifts are lift throttle shifts.

I thought they showed us in a positive light though. Our cars are a real bargain, and I hope it lasts. The Ford G.T.40 will be 125G's. The XKR Jag is 95G's. They all admit that.

You’d need a second guy keeping his foot on the brake to run 13.1 @ 111 in ’02 Z06

Re: Latest R&T 02 Z06 test (jwaked)
R/T has always ruled in favor of imports. Somehow they get good numbers with the imports and not with the Domestis.
