Default What is the rpm at idle?

My 04 coupe seems to be juttering a bit at idle. It's at about 500rpm sitting still. What should it be?

Mine's just under 1K with a pretty lumpy cam.

Hi There;
Its computer controlled, no adjustment.If you have a cam & a CAI its going to be self adjusted by the computer to about 1000 rpm about 750 to 900 on a stock engine.

Stock should be near 750-700. run some injector cleaner with the next tank o gas and see if that helps.

My bone stock LS6 idles around 600 once it's warm. 750 when the motor is still cold.

hmm, well I'm all stock, so I guess it's low. I'll try some injector cleaner and see if that works. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

I think my custom HPtune is set to low at 500. When the car is hot it`s ok but on a hot day if you turn the AC on and the motor is cold it tends to kill the engine. So what I`m supposed to do, drive all the way back to RPM Motors to have Charlie re-set the RPM?

Need to go anyways, he left me stuck with a locked Diablo Predator, 359.00 plus 75.00 in twice sold twice returned shipping, leaves for a very bad bad taste in my mouth. My RPM Motors HP tune ended up costing me 500. plus the 430.00 or so. So over 900.00, WTF!

Other than that complaint, a FLAWLESS tune

Wow, not a good experience with that tuner! If I were you I would start a separate thread to alert others and perhaps get some good resolution to what happened to you....that's what a forum is for
