Why this bothers people is beyond me. If you have the money in your pocket to do something other than H.P mods than do it. Go to any open car show and see how much attention these get. If you get tired of the haters on the forums then just go get gas or go to a grocery store. You cant make it to the front door with out kids, adults etc making positive comments. Too many times Ive been late to where I was going just so someone could have their picture taken by my car at a gas station etc etc. And 26 trophies and 4 Best of shows proves they can really help. And Lambos are not the only cars with them there are so many exotics now doing it because it is a big selling point. The Spyker, Bugatti Eb110, Vector w8, Saleen S7, Then lots of cars with gullwing or front swinging doors like the mclarren mercedes and mclarren f1. Not to mention 2 different corvette prototypes. I will agree that in some states these are everywhere and wont stand out (played out) but in most states, towns etc most people done have them and they will bring lots of attention over a stock anything. If you are looking to make everyone happy, you will never do it so make yourself happy and only buy them if you like them. Sorry this is so long winded but i just dont know how someone can get so worked up over a door hinge and how it opens.

No but we know of someone who left the windows up in a show while doors are vertical and the sun burned a hole in his dash, if you leave them up than lower windows for sure. ( Vendors on here have a window valet that works great in this situation)

I had this happen at a show. I prefer the look with the windows up so I make sure to park in a way that the sun will not do it again. I got a quarter size hole burned in the upper dash last year. It was scary seeing smoke rising out of the car. Luckily people were around the car and got it stopped before and major damage.

I'm not a fan of vertical doors on a Corvette. Way too ricer for the American icon.

Default ??????????????????????

Got to say they really do get your attention. Not high on my list at this time but if I was into shows might want to have to level out the playing field.

Are they functional in terms of making it easier to get in and out??

Also I can see why they draw alot of attention. SWEET!

do what you want with your car. Having doors that face the sky is about the last thing I would ever want on my car.

Well it's all opinion and luckily everyone has two or three. For me I go back to the basics and if the solution isn't as good (in my opinion) then I'm not for it...

I don't believe these have ever been equaled and lambo doors don't even come close.
