2 Vettes trump 1 Camaro any day! Besides I'd never chase a Camaro around the Colorado Mountains!

OK, I look at it like this, You have one of the best Vetts made (Black Z06 C6), Why not sell the 2 C5s? A black SS Camaro would be really nice to have.
If it were me I would sell the C5s and get the Camaro SS and add a supercharger.

Not me... I was thinking of getting one of the new Camaros as a "beater" that I could take to movies, etc. until I saw them in real life. The concept sketches looked interesting, but in real life they just look all out of proportion to me - more like a "street-tank" with side view mirrors that might look good on the next Corvette? I have three of them that park next to me every day and they just look clumsy next to the C5, but to each his own.

At the end of the day a Camaro is still just a Camaro.
The novelty of having the newer Camaro will wear off in a couple years and you'll be kicking yourself in the *** for giving up the Corvettes.
I have a really nice 1994 Camaro I'll trade you for just one of those Corvettes.
What's that you say?? No?? Why not?? It's a sweet *** Camaro!!
See my point.... In a few short years that 2010 Camaro will be just as unappealing as my 1994 Camaro.
The Corvette is a superior car. Why trade down, and then to trade TWO Corvettes.... That is sillyness.

Hardly...the C5s (both 99s) are paid for...Im still making payments on my C6Z...I have to keep one of my C5s in a friends garage as Im short garage space for one car...Doing the two-4-one trade would also remedy my garage dilemma....not to mention my wifey said my next car payment book will come with divorce papers

That's along the lines of what I was thinking...I also have a black SSR...I think the Camaro would look cool alongside the C6Z and SSR...Wifey wants me to do it...but when I think about selling my C5s, especially the Coupe (my first Vette) it's easier said than done ...If I had more $$ and more garage space Id just keep 'em and buy the Camaro

You provide a good argument....If I keep the C5s Im gonna have to modify my garage ceiling and buy a lift....Right now my buddy that's letting me keep my Coupe in his garage has more garage space than cars....I have a feeling that's gonna change....
but FWIW, I was a Camaro-guy 20 years ago

Personally, I wouldn't do it. If you really need the garage space, I would sell either the vert or the coupe (depending which one you like better) and put it towards paying off the C6Z....just another option. I do like the Z28 that's coming out though.

I would, I remember when I had 3 "fun" cars, all 2 door coupes. in the end of the day you can only drive on at a time. an you like one more than the others, then the others sit around taking up my garage space.
Atleast the Camaro is a bit more practical and a C5 is not a collectors car.

I make it a point to drive all my vehicles...so none just sit around taking up garage space...

Someone posted a pic of a C5 and a 5th Generation Camaro SS, side by side, and after seeing them next to each other i realized how much more i like the looks of the C5(Black, of course - LOL). I even looked @ a black Camaro @ the local Dealer and i'm not too crazy about the new Camaros. Now, if they came out with a "retro"- Trans Am with that Pontiac styling.....maybe(but prob not)

depends on your cash flow. i do know in 5 years one camaro is going to be worth less than 2 c5's so money wise it isn't really smart. if you're doing well and just want some variety, i can see that. are you sure you won't miss the convertible? you'll basically have two hard tops. could be an excuse to build a cobra roadster or something in your spare time i suppose. could be a fun cross project. cobra kit car with an ls2
