The C5 doesn't have the style that plugs in like this?

If you mean the turn signal multi-function switch, there is a post. A new switch will run from $150-$200. Have you checked the fuse located in the passanger footwell fuse block?

I've heard of guys using a hammer and srewdriver to knock it out but I'm not sure I would chance it for fear of breaking the retaining clip.
Me and the Bro did it in a couple of hours taking our time. Just cover up the steering wheel so that you don't scratch it up removing the dash pad.

I'm dead serious. The switch is located behind the hazard switch and access is tough.

Pull the "A" Pilliars, (2) 7mm Screws on the side, (2)T15 dash pad gauges area, (2) Under center defrost grill, A couple around radio steel frame.
Lift off dash pad and disconnect harness for flasher and bulb in the defroster area.

Best solution is the bi-pass cable from Richard @

About 20 minutes and $60 and your turn signal issues will be GONE. I've had one on my 2000 vert for about 2 years. Lots of individuals here have used them. I'm not associated with this company in any way other than being a very pleased customer with working turn signals Ron

Where to use?
On Ebay I found a 3 pin electronic led flasher to eliminate the hyperflash....where exactly does it plug in if I decide to purchase it? It seems to be cheaper than other bypasses....

There is a guy that did what you are looking to do. He bought the flasher and then cut the factory wiring harness under the steering column and connected it to the flasher. More info here:

So the reason that the 'other' flasher that you found is cheaper is because it's just a flasher. The one posted earlier uses a harness made with the GM specific plugs, and those aren't necessarily cheap. So flasher + materials + time = $60
If you are a handy kind of guy and don't mind cutting into your wiring harness, you can do exactly what you are looking to do, no problem.
I hope this helps.

That's the thing... the flasher is integrated into the hazard switch on the C5. It's not a 'plug and play' thing with the flasher, which is why there are 'kits' that include the GM specific plugs that allow you to plug it in rather than hack up your wiring harness.
