I agree with many of the sentiments posted here... Definately for me it is the horsepower... I love it!! The looks are nice too but the horsepower does it the most for me...

In my opinion,it's one of the best looking, best engineered American cars ever built-
I like the way people who come into the office where I work ask "So ,who drives the Vette"?
There's plenty of other cars in the parking lot,but no one ever says "Sweet minivan-who's it belong to?" or "Dude, that little Civic out there is badass"!
They do,however, comment on the Vette on a regular basis.
I like that...

The list is long but my favorite......
Cruising with other Vettes,,,it is awesome to be part of a long line of America's Sportscar going anywhere!
Second is opening her up by myself when nobody is looking!

It's difficult to choose just one thing.
The lines (I like to look out onto her hood from the driver seat or look at her sitting in the garage ready and waiting to go play)
The stance
The sound
The feeling like she's just chomping at the bit to GO when idling at a red light.
1st through 5th gear (only use 6th to save gas)
The color
HUD
Did I mention the sound ?
It's all good and ditto what Silver Bullet said about being in a long line of Vettes. Nothing like the front view being the back of a Vette, seeing the front of a Vette in the rear view mirror, and then being in a Vette to top it off: doesn't get much better than that.

Felt like I have responded to this thread before heh maybe I should see what I posted last time I saw this come up.
Right now I would definitely say the way it throws me back into my seat!! I was working on my drivers seat a few days ago had it pushed forward and found a pile of quarters behind it!!! Love that!!!

I love the way it looks,,just plane cool!! I love the way it drives and handles!! So many cars today to me are just plane boring,,in looks and performance, technically they are not, but they just don't "move me" emotionally!! I know there are a lot of sophisticated cars,BMW's,Lexus, even Cadies and Lincolns,,but they leave me cold.About the only other car that will get my attention is the good old V8 Mustang rumble, but they can't hold a candle to the vette for me!!To me there is nothing to compare to it!!

The looks and the performance. Quite a package GM came up with.
