i dont. if i had to show a front plate, i would probably move out of that state. if i had to live in that state, they would have to give me so many tickets to the point where they were about to take away my license until i put on a front plate.

1. Ok Its good to have when you want to hide the plate at car show. But then you put it back up when driving so that you wont get a ticket. It looks even worse on the side like that.

2. So when you get pulled over, you going to tell the cop, "wait, let me pull it up" Most cops will tell you "its too late, I did not see it when i stopped you so heres your ticket."

3. When its in hiding mode, It looks like something is bolted up under the bumper that doesnt belong there
Buts that the great thing about a free country. Its my car and I get to choose

But wouldn't life be boring if we all liked the same things

Hmmm...move out of state? Let's see. I'd have to give up sun, sand, surf, year-round bikini and miniskirt weather, great variety of tasty cuisines from all over the world, a chance to meet people from all over the world, an abundance of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen, did I mention year-round binkinis and miniskirts? As much as I dislike front plates, they're a small price to pay to be able to check out bikinis and miniskirts in paradise!

Aloha!

WOW-I'll cover my car in license plates for this.

Seriously-people really think about a front plate THIS MUCH-GET A LIFE-put the plate on if you have to and FORGET IT-nobody else looks at the front of your car but you and if your driving it you can't see it either. Let the plate eat all the rocks and bugs, not the front of your painted cover.

I run all of them. Just before I was headed to Funfest, I noticed that the front plate mount was lose. Those three sticky buttons would not hold any more.

Thought about the alternatives for awhile. I got out the drill/driver and SCREWED the backing plate to the front fascia. It's fixed for the life of the car now.

Default "Show n Go" Installation

Hello from Japan

Displaying front license plate is strictly required here in Japan. So I got license filler in this March via Yahoo auction and bought “Show-n-Go” produced by ALTEC (http://www.altecproducts.com/index.htm) in this June at Eckler’s. (http://www.ecklers.com/Default.asp?) And I finally installed them on my Z06 yesterday. Now I’m satisfied with better looking!!

I chose the simple one without remote control function to avoid electric malfunction just in case. I’ve uploaded some photos of installation on my blog. (http://coollifewithnicecar.blog37.fc2.com/) Unfortunately, I’ve written all the articles in Japanese but hope this will somewhat help you.

Cheers,
